Worldways Legacy

Worldways Legacy

Worldways brand has a rich legacy and background in the aviation industry.

Other than perhaps the Pan American World Airways,(Pan Am)  or Trans World Airlines (TWA) aviation brand which all ceased operations in the 1990s and 2000s and are still today highly recognizable, the Worldways brand is that same space to many aviation enthusiasts.

The Worldways brand started out as a Canadian Charter Airline that commenced operations in 1973, and ceased its jet charter aircraft operations in 1991 as did many other major carriers with the “open skies” policies we now enjoy.

Even today, some 30 more years later, many plane enthusiasts and jet plane hobby model manufacturing companies offer the vintage L10111 and DC 10 jets with the Worldways logo and insignia. These model planes can be purchased from many suppliers on portals such as eBay.Com,  Amazon.Com and others to name a few.

The brand name Worldways is rich in aviation history with many baby boomers recalling the Worldways brand name quite vividly. Similarly, to other airline companies such as TWA or Pan Am to name a few, these brands are still recognized by people who were not even born when these companies ceased operations. Worldways is no different.  At one time the Worldways brand was ranked 4th largest in Canada and one of the largest commercial carriers in N America and Europe.

The Worldways name was acquired in 2019 with the slogan “The Spirit of Flying”. After 2 years of various technical developments, obtaining various licenses, channel partnerships the Worldways brand was re-launched in 2021 as the industry 1st meta search and  web-based disintermediation services for the private jet charter market.
